Nikolaus Futter

After 35 years in just one company Niki founded Innospiration GmbH in January 2020. His solgan is: Innovation by Inspiration. This motto reflects his attitude for change, reorganisation, digitisation and innovation per se. In his new venture he is focusing on application of blockchain, new digital business models and his fondness for start-ups and young entrepreneurs.

Before starting Innospiration he was managing director in his family owned company, Compass-Gruppe, a major publisher of b2b business information services. Niki managed the transformation of a now more than 150 years old company from pure print business to fully digital in the early nineties of the last century. Being at the forefront of digital development became a passion for him.

Change was always not only a corporate aim for him but also a mission for creating the right economical and political environment. Therefore he engaged himself in serveral trade organisations in Austria and on EU level. He follows this path in engaging him self in the DAAA.

As a very active business angel Niki has invested in more than 20 young companies reaching from biotech to mobility, cyber security and tokenisation projects.

He graduated from WU Wien, Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, where he focused on marketing and SME management.

He loves the exchange with new people, ideas and vision. This is were he derives his inspiration from.
